Senou Natsuru is your normal, everyday high school students. He was chosen to be one Kampf (German for "fighters"), whose objective is to fight with either Kämpfer other weapons, swords or magic. However, there are a couple of catches, you can not choose whether you are a Kämpfer or not, and you must have the body of a young girl to use your powers.
